Throughout the initial years of her career, Rebecca has enjoyed gaining experience within a wide range of performance types. Her degree in costume provided her with an excellent knowledge of sewing, mending and alteration. She has then developed this to working within a range of different perfomance types and taking on some small scale design roles. This broad range of experience allows her to take a design from conception to completion with confidence. Continuing forward, Rebecca hopes to remain focused on broadening her skillset and solidifying her experience. With a hard working and postitve attitude she is an excellent addition to any team.

Workroom assisting, principal truck and on set duties including: Mending, alterations, light sewing duties, organising, tidying, line-up, break down, running, stand-by and dressing.

Costume Trainee (NI Screen) – Conversations with Friends

At the start of the job, my duties were mainly tidying, organising, returns and labelling. As the job progressed I took on some dress making and alteration tasks. By the time we got a few weeks into the second block I was working as a full time maker with tasks including small and large scale alterations aswell as dress making. Having been supported by Cathy Young in the first block, the independent work in the second block saw me working with expensive, vintage or very limited stock materials and to tight deadlines for my experience level. I look forward to CWF being released so I can share images of my work.
